Properties of fatty amines

Fatty amine is an organic derivative of ammonia, C8-10 short-chain fatty amine has a certain solubility in water, long-chain fatty amine is generally insoluble in water, liquid or solid at room temperature, alkaline, as an organic base has an irritating and corrosive effect on skin and mucous membranes.

Fatty amines can undergo reactions unique to fatty amines.
